PS3: What I like about this year's E3

When E3 comes into life tomorrow, it's soooo damn surreal when the Playstation 3 is announced this morning (Malaysian Time). With Microsoft's strategy to unveiled their Xbox360 in MTV b4 E3, comes Sony's turn to unveil their new console, PS3 in E3.

Honestly, personally I think the PS3 has garnered more response from the public rather than the Xbox360. The specs on paper are definately better than Xbox360 but still, we need to see it perform side by side.

What I really like about this specs is that it can output High Definition at 1080P at 2 channels! Current top game of PS2 which is GT4 can only output HD at 1080i at one channel. *sweat* It is even Backward compatible so that we can play old Playstation and Playstation 2 games. With it's PS3 - PSP buddy up feature, imagine what you can do with your PSP when you link it up with your PS3. All of this will be released in Spring 2006!!! Cheers~

New job, New Environment.

Been missing for the past week. Was working with a new co, Tomei Gold and Jewellery. Whole new environment where they speak Mandarin and Cantonese. English? nopes. Totally different

It's not really an IT company but they do have an IT dept there. Just like what Tech Support ppl should do, I'll think about it more when i get to know more how this organization works.

I'm having my own doubts whether it's a wise choice that i made on the 28th of March.

BTW, next weekend on sat, 8.45pm, I'll be having a PSP Star Wars 3 Movie gathering at GSC Times Square. We managed to book the whole premium class cinema for that time slot. One whole cineplex are ours!!! hahahaha. Jeeves and Teddy will be joining me.

~Books~

For the past 2 weeks, Gavin Mendes book have been occupying me with interesting reads on the "1942 The Year China Discovered The World". The fact that the emporer has such great vision to make the world cower in fear at China's might is really really fascinating. Such spending on lavish dinners, concubines, Naval Fleets, etc does really show that YOU're rich to the world. But one thing that amazes me in the book that the Malacca Sultan that time DID made a trip to China to pay loyalty fees and it did state that Admiral Zheng He joined the convoy or entourage to accompany Sultan back to Malacca with hordes of concubines in the ship to cater all the world leaders need. After anchoring in Malacca and exchanging farewells, Admiral Zheng He set sail to other parts of the world to send the rest of the leaders home.

The one thing that caught my attention is what stated in our local history book about the "Zaman Kegemilangan Melayu Melaka". In the book, it tells us that Admiral Cheng Ho a.k.a Zheng He brought Princess Hang Li Po to Malacca as a gift from China. I smell a conspiracy here~ She might be a concubine of the China emporer that set sail with the entourage; well, an emporer's concubine can be regarded as an emporer's wife too. And how come it's not stated in our History Book about this matter and about how big the Admiral's entourage is?

Go figure~ correct me if i got the facts wrong.
