What religion is the right one for you?

You scored as agnosticism. You are an agnostic. Though it is generally taken that agnostics neither believe nor disbelieve in God, it is possible to be a theist or atheist in addition to an agnostic. Agnostics don't believe it is possible to prove the existence of God (nor lack thereof).

Agnosticism is a philosophy that God's existence cannot be proven. Some say it is possible to be agnostic and follow a religion; however, one cannot be a devout believer if he or she does not truly believe.

Is it time yet?

In each and every person, there'll be a time where they will have to decide what to do with their lives from this point onwards. Be it their personal life, financial aspect or even career. Should I do this? Should I take the chance? etc. I've been wondering this to myself also lately.

The past one month plus had me thinking real hard about what I want in my career. Should I just wait for the right moment for good things to come to myself or should I go in search of it? I did talk it out with other people whom I think I can really trust and yet most of them would say "Go for it. Think what's best for yourself".

The catalyst for the moment I really have to make up my mind came a month ago with an imminent departure of one of my superiors and few of my colleagues. This whole "thing" got me into action to do what's best for myself yet I'm afraid to change. New environment and such, ya know...

I got a call from company "T" offering me a position in their ranks of employees. The package was lower than what I expected and I negotiated with them. Not much of an improvement from the previous offer but then some luxuries given to me from my current company have to be stripped off. Am I ready to live with that? I really don't know. It's kinda big of a decision for me to decide yet.

All formalities that are supposed to be prepared are done and yet I'm still doubting myself whether I can do it or not.

It comes and goes every year

Birthdays do come once in a year for everyone and there's none that more than once a year for anyone in the world.

Genie's birthday is today and we celebrated this morning around 12.25am. Not much of a celebration. Just a candle blowing session and a short chat with all the housemates. Piper looking eagerly around the table for a bite of the cake. Oh yeah!!! I forgot about the pictures of the pressie. Will try to get a few snaps of it since it's with her now.

Asked her what's her plan for this bday. And guess what she said... I'm not gonna disclosed what she said but then it really got me into thinking about "Get Your Priorities Right First" thing.

Yeah yeah... I'm ranting here. But hey, where else could I go or who else should I talked to? I need a place or an opening to vent out what I have inside of me. A lot of things have happened for the past 2 months. Be it office problem or my own life's problem.

Quarterly Life Crisis

They call it the "Quarter-life Crisis." It is when you stop going along with the crowd and start realizing that there are many things about yourself that you didn't know and may not like. You start feeling insecure and wonder where you will be in a year or two, but then get scared because you barely know where you are now.

You start realizing that people are selfish and that, maybe, those friends that you thought you were so close to aren't exactly the greatest people you have ever met, and the people you have lost touch with are some of the most important ones. What you don't recognize is that they are realizing that, too, and aren't really cold, catty, mean or insincere, but that they are as confused as you.

You look at your job...and it is not even close to what you thought you would be doing, or maybe you are looking for a job and realizing that you are going to hav e to start at the bottom and that scares you.

Your opinions have gotten stronger. You see what others are doing and find yourself judging more than usual because suddenly you realize that you have certain boundaries in your life and are constantly adding things to your list of what is acceptable and what isn't.

One minute, you are insecure and then the next, secure. You laugh and cry with the greatest force of your life. You feel alone and scared and confused. Suddenly, change is the enemy and you try and cling on to them past with dear life, but soon realize that the past is drifting further and further away, and there is nothing to do but
stay where you are or move forward.

You get your heart broken and wonder how someone you loved could do such damage to you. Or you lay in bed and wonder why you can't meet anyone decent enough that you want to get to know better. Or maybe you love someone but love someone else too and cannot figure out why you are doing this because you know that you aren't a bad person.

One night stands and random hook ups start to look cheap. Getting wasted and acting like an idiot starts to look pathetic. You go through the same emotions and questions over and over, and talk with your friends about
the same topics because you cannot seem to make a decision.

You worry about loans, money, the future and making a life for yourself.....and while winning the race would be great, right now you'd just like to be a contender!

What you may not realize is that everyone reading this relates to it. We are in our best of times and our worst of times, trying as hard as we can to figure this whole thing out.

Free as a bird?

Well, here i am, taking a day off from work on a Tuesday!! Weird isn't it? Usually ppl would take either Fridays or Mondays off so that they can have an extra day relaxing during the weekend. But I've got something up... my plan. I shall call it my-plan instead of the usual blog-plan from Ow. Sorry Ow ;p . So,yup... it's my-plan for today.

Gotta attend an appointment later in Holiday Villa Hotel in Subang and then off I go to Sunway Pyramid again. Yes, AGAIN as I've just went there on Sunday. This time, it is for me to get a pressie for my Genie. Yeah, you heard it, my genie. You guys know who she is~

Her birthday is coming this Friday and yet I've got no plan to celebrate whatsoever. Just a normal present giving session and that's it. On Friday itself, she'll have some birthday dinner with her colleagues so.... Oh yeah, Keat Seong's girlfriend's birthday is a day earlier than my Genie. We were talking about going to Sunway yesterday and suggested a meet-up since it's been ages we met. Talked a lot of things thru' YM and this birthday thingy came up. Only then I know that her birthday is on the 17th of March.

All was set for yesterday's meet-up but then just when I was about to leave the office, I remembered that I have an appointment today. So it was cancelled since I don't want to go to Subang two days in a row ;p. I'll be getting the stuffs today. Maybe I'll post some pics when I got the pressie.

Additional Xbox Xenon info

  • Wireless Options: Xenon will enable both wired and wireless controllers (like the Nintendo WaveBird or the Logitech controllers), and will come with RF receivers for wireless options. The system also supports an optional Internet router/adapter.

  • Controllers: The new controllers will be around the same size as the current S-controllers. Microsoft has eschewed the dual triggers for shoulder buttons, and the design is said to be a mixture between the current S-controllers and the current PS2 controllers. They will not feature slots for memory cards, which, we're told, are on the console itself. The system supports 64 megabyte memory cards. There are three controller slots, two controllers on front of the system, plus one USB on the back. Controllers have 2.5mm jacks for headset use.

  • Console Design: The Xenon console design is said to be much smaller than Xbox, which seems obvious. The new design is styled less like a Corvette and more organic in shape. Its size falls somewhere between the new slimmer PS Two and original PS2.

Xbox Xenon Unveiled

With the GDC 2005 going on now, Microsoft took the chance to unveiled their next-gen console; Xbox Xenon. Tentalising specs, I must say. Since they are not opting for HD-DVD or Blu-ray disc and sticking back to DVD9, the "ahem" market will still flourish and i think it is still part of MS strategy to gain more market share. Wait a year or so, when the modchips are more stable, I'm getting one Xenon for myself. Below are the specs mentioned in Gamespy:

The Guts of the Next Box

# CPU - Xenon's CPU has three 3.0 GHz PowerPC cores. Each core is capable of two instructions per cycle and has an L1 cache with 32 KB for data and 32 KB for instructions. The three cores share 1 MB of L2 cache. Alpha 2 developer kits currently have two cores instead of three.

# GPU - Xenon's GPU is a generation beyond the ATI X800. Its clock speed is 500 MHz and it supports Shader 3.0. Developers are currently working with an alpha 2 GPU. Beta GPU units are expected by May and the final GPU is slated for a summer release. The final GPU will be more powerful than anything on the market today; in game terms, it would handle a game like Half-Life 2 with ease.

# System Memory - Xenon will have 256 MB of system RAM. Keep in mind that this number should not be equated to typical PC RAM. The Xbox has 64 MB of system RAM and is a very capable machine.

# Optical Drive - As many have speculated, Xenon will not use Blu-Ray or HD-DVD. Games will come on dual-layer DVD-9 discs. While the media is the same as that of the current Xbox, the usable space on each disc is up to 7 GB. The drive is slated to run at 12X.

# Memory Units - Xenon will use 64 MB to 1,024 MB memory cards. 8 MB is reserved for system use, leaving a 56 MB to 1,016 MB for user data.

# Hard Drive - As many have speculated, Xenon's hard drive is optional. 2 GB of the drive will be used as game cache. The final drive size is still being determined.

# Camera - Xenon will have a USB 2.0 camera. It's capable of 1.2 megapixel still shots and VGA video. Photos can be used in-game and for gamer profiles. The camera can also be used for video chat. It's unknown if the Xenon camera will allow for EyeToy-like gameplay. Developers are currently using a simulated camera driver.

# Sound Chip - Xenon does not have an audio chip in the traditional sense. Decompression is handled by hardware, while the rest of the chores are handled by software. DirectSound3D has been dropped in favor of X3DAudio. The former was deemed too inflexible.

Disassembling Your Ipod Shuffle

I just got a link that one guy so brave enough to tear apart his Ipod Shuffle...hrmm maybe i'll do that once i get my own ipod

Link Ipod Hack

Everybody's like that

It seems that today is a very bad day for me indeed.

One, I'm being bashed/flamed in another blogger's blog

Secondly, I'm being unreliable in "everything" i say.

Do let me know or correct me...

I must say that The Da Vinci Code is an interesting book to read. With all the theories about secret organizations, hidden messages in Da Vinci's drawing, and action thriller, it's a good book. Got me hook for one straight week but most of the week it's being read in an ebook form. Urgh, my eyes.

I'm almost finishing this book and yet started to look for Dan Brown other books. Lucky Teddy has all 4 of them and i'm planning to borrow Angels and Demons from him.
