For the past 2 weeks, Gavin Mendes book have been occupying me with interesting reads on the "1942 The Year China Discovered The World". The fact that the emporer has such great vision to make the world cower in fear at China's might is really really fascinating. Such spending on lavish dinners, concubines, Naval Fleets, etc does really show that YOU're rich to the world. But one thing that amazes me in the book that the Malacca Sultan that time DID made a trip to China to pay loyalty fees and it did state that Admiral Zheng He joined the convoy or entourage to accompany Sultan back to Malacca with hordes of concubines in the ship to cater all the world leaders need. After anchoring in Malacca and exchanging farewells, Admiral Zheng He set sail to other parts of the world to send the rest of the leaders home.

The one thing that caught my attention is what stated in our local history book about the "Zaman Kegemilangan Melayu Melaka". In the book, it tells us that Admiral Cheng Ho a.k.a Zheng He brought Princess Hang Li Po to Malacca as a gift from China. I smell a conspiracy here~ She might be a concubine of the China emporer that set sail with the entourage; well, an emporer's concubine can be regarded as an emporer's wife too. And how come it's not stated in our History Book about this matter and about how big the Admiral's entourage is?
